Professional Biography

Lauren has dedicated her career to helping children and families, first as a prosecutor pursuing justice for abused women and children, then as an adoption attorney uniting children with loving Christian homes and helping them plan for their futures by providing wills and estate planning.

During her time at Baylor Law School, Lauren volunteered at the Waco Children’s Advocacy Center and was certified as a Sexual Assault Advocate. Lauren spent the first eight years of her legal career as a prosecutor in both Dallas and Hunt Counties prosecuting all types of crime and specializing in working with victims of domestic violence. During her time as a prosecutor, Lauren tried over 60 jury trials, wrote numerous appellate briefs, argued before the 6th Court of Appeals, and authored legislation sponsored by Senator Bob Deuell.

Lauren’s work with abused and neglected children and the example of families in her church who had adopted motivated her to found Adoptions For His Glory in 2012 to provide low-cost legal services to Christian families wanting to adopt. Since then, Lauren has not only assisted dozens of families with the adoption process, her family has adopted through the foster system as well. Lauren represents families in private adoptions, CPS adoptions, kinship adoptions, step-parent adoptions, adult adoptions, and “re-adoption” after international adoption.

When Lauren joined Money Law Firm in 2015, she expanded her services to families to include comprehensive will packages, estate planning, and probate administration. Whether you are just starting out or are in your last season of life, Lauren can help you provide for the care and support of your family. She can also assist in probating a will after the death of a loved one.

Lauren understands that going through any legal process can be intimidating and frustrating.  Her goal is to walk her clients through each step of the legal process, encouraging them that God has a plan for their family and for His glory.
